Aladdin and the King of ThievesAladdin and the King of Thieves (1996)

Aladdin and the King of Thieves: This direct-to-video third "wish" in Disney's "Aladdin" trilogy marks the return of Robin Williams as the voice of the Genie. Aladdin's battle with the King of Thieves and his at-long-last marriage to Princess Jasmine also features the vocal talents of Gilbert Gottfried, Jerry Orbach, Scott Weinger, Linda Larkin and John Rhys-Davies.

"You were nearly Dumbo toe jam!" -- The Genie (ROBIN WILLIAMS) to Abu, after the chimp is nearly crushed by stampeding elephants.

Robin Williams again provides the voice of the Genie in this animated adventure, the final chapter in the "Aladdin" trilogy. As young and old embark on a pilgrimage to Agrabah for Aladdin and Jasmine's much-anticipated wedding, the infamous Forty Thieves steal the desert spotlight when they attempt to commandeer the revered Hand of Midas. This magical force changes anything it touches into gold. Then a wise prophet claims that Aladdin's missing father is still alive, and this knowledge motivates the heroic youth to journey to the forbidden den of the King of Thieves. Now Aladdin has his hands full with money-grubbing marauders, mystical charms, and a dangerous rescue effort. And he can't forget Jasmine waiting at the altar...

This sequel is billed as "the final `Aladdin' saga." It is also noteworthy because Robin Williams returned as the voice of the Genie; he did not participate in the second "Aladdin." Songs include "Out of Thin Air," composed by David Friedman and sung by Brad Kane and Liz Callaway.
