The Conviction: In this controversial drama about sexual politics and rape, a woman is accidentally locked in a museum overnight. A caretaker discovers her and they ultimately have sex three times, after which he reveals that he has the key to let her out. The next day she charges him with rape, and the nature of the crime is debated in court. It's cold, like you." -- Lorenzo (VITTORIO MEZZOGIORNO) Locked in a museum after dark, Lorenzo and Sandra engage in a session of passionate lovemaking. Though Sandra had been reluctant at first, she consents to Lorenzo's advances after he accused her of being frigid. The next day, however, when Lorenzo confesses that he had a set of keys all along, Sandra accuses him of rape. What follows is a strange court case where the prosecutor finds himself on trial as much as Lorenzo.
